I have raised monarch butterflies for several years. I share them with classrooms, children's gardens, garden clubs, my neighborhood, and even a county fair. I was introduced to JMZ by a friend and have been purchasing caterpillars from them for three years. This group is awesome. When I needed larvae quickly they were excellent at getting them to me and the quality was perfect. If you are even thinking about raising Monarchs look at their website first. You will be happy you did.
all caterpillars arrived alive, and they all have formed pupae. Hoping for them to eclose by next thursday.
Of the 40 you sent, 20 are growing well. They are making crystalis and look well. The other 20 are too small. They are doing nothing.I understand that you sent different sizes so they would be at different stages. The 20 tiny ones are never going to make it.
