What happens if something is DOA (Dead on Arrival)?We take great care to ensure your live insects arrive safe and healthy. However, sometimes unexpected things can happen during transit. If your order arrives with anything DOA (Dead on Arrival), please contact us within 1 hour of delivery and include clear photos. If we do not receive notice and photos within 1 hour, any replacement or refund is void. Your satisfaction — and the well-being of our insects — are our top priorities! 💚🦋

What does Preorder mean?When you see an item marked as Preorder, it means you’re reserving it in advance before it’s ready to ship. Because we work with live insects, availability depends on their natural growth cycles. Preordering guarantees you’ll get your caterpillars, chrysalises, or eggs as soon as they’re ready — often before they’re available to the general public! How do I care for my caterpillars or chrysalises when they arrive?Follow the instructions included with your order right away. Caterpillars need fresh host plant leaves and a clean, airy space. Chrysalises should hang safely without disturbance until they emerge. We also include detailed care instructions with every order! 🌱🦋

Do I need a permit to order?No permit is needed for most shipments within the U.S.! We handle all regulatory requirements, so you can order confidently. If you’re located outside the U.S., please check your local regulations before placing your order. If you have any questions or concerns, just let us know—we’re happy to help! 💚🦋

Can I order as a gift for someone else?Absolutely! You can ship an order directly to someone else—just enter their address at checkout. Please make sure they’re aware a live insect package is arriving so they can care for it right away. 🌿🦋

How long will it take for my caterpillars to turn into butterflies?It usually takes about 2–4 weeks, depending on the species and temperature. We include a care sheet with more details for each type! 🐛🦋

What is your live arrival guarantee?We guarantee your insects will arrive alive and healthy if you choose UPS Next Day Air. Why do some species cost more than others?Some butterfly and moth species are rarer, harder to breed, or take longer to raise, which affects the price. We also factor in special care, host plant needs, and availability. Each species is unique — and that’s part of what makes them so special! 💛🦋

What happens if I’m not home when my order arrives?We recommend being home to receive your live insect order right away. If you’re not home, the package may be left outside, which can expose it to heat, cold, or damage. If this happens, we will not be able to offer any replacements or refunds. Our Story
Hello everyone, We Just Wanna Thank You! So Much for Everything and this amazing season. You helped this small family-owned business grow 100 Times it’s size. (Just Like a Monarch Caterpillar 😂) But on a more serious note. 2-3 years ago, we were just in a tent in my back yard. Then we moved to our first greenhouse then we moved to York South Carolina and got our 2nd greenhouse. And had no sales about to give up. But April of 2023 year everything changed. So just because we kept going all the hard work paid off. So today we want you to leave our page remembering that if you have a dream you want to achieve reach to the stars and you will accomplish it. JUST WHEN THE
